Get your adrenaline pumping on our high-flying zipline tour! Soar above the trees from peak to peak, and peak to base, traveling over a combined 1.6 miles on one of the longest zipline tours in the Continental United States. This 1.5+ hour adventure is for thrill seekers and nature lovers alike. You can control your speed and get going as fast as 70mph as you make your way from the summit of Gunstock towards the top of Pistol; that's over ¾ of a mile! From there, you'll transfer to another set of lines, zipping from Pistol across the pond and returning to the base area, another 3,809 feet.

Start your adventure with training from our experienced guides who will familiarize you with the specialized equipment. We train each participant to perform all activities that may be required on the tour. The guides also use this opportunity to evaluate all participants to make sure they have the ability to safely complete the tour. Participants will be required to carry an 18lb backpack with equipment over uneven ground and up spiral staircases. We do reserve the right to exclude anyone from participation for medical, safety, or other reasons.

Participants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 10 years old.
  • Be between 4' and 6'8" tall.
  • Weigh between 50 and 260 lbs.
  • Children ages 10 and 15 years of age must be accompanied on the Zipline Tour by a participating adult.
  • Wear appropriate footwear (see below for requirements).

Please note:

  • Plan to check in at the Ticket Office at least 30 min. prior to your scheduled tour. If visiting on a holiday weekend allow additional time for check-in. Late arrivals will miss their tour with no refunds or rescheduled tour. After checking in, you'll head to the harnessing area in the ground level of the Historic Lodge (Stone Cellar).
  • Helmets will be required for all participants and will be supplied by Gunstock Mountain Resort.
  • Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes or boots are REQUIRED for adventures. Open-toed shoes are NOT allowed.  Sturdy, closed-toe sport sandals with adjustable back straps are adequate. Croc brand or similar footwear are not considered to be adequate. The Gunstock Mountain Adventure Park Staff reserve the right to determine whether the apparel and/or footwear are adequate for the chosen adventure.

ADD-ONS (same day and same participant)

  • You can upgrade your Zipline Tour to add the Aerial Treetop Adventure (ATA) course for just $35 (subject to availability).
  • You can upgrade your Zipline Tour to add unlimited Mountain Coaster and Scenic Lift Rides for just $30.

Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel your Zipline Tour, or Aerial Treetop Adventure (ATA) Course reservation greater than 48hrs in advance by calling the Adventure Park reservation line at 603-737-4388. The policy reads:

  • Cancellation 48 hours or more prior to scheduled Adventure: Full refund or reschedule adventure.
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to scheduled Adventure: No refunds or rescheduling allowed.

Unlimited Scenic Lift & Coaster Rides (6yrs - Adult)

For ages 5 and younger, you can bring your child to the Ticket Office to pick up a free Unlimited Scenic Lift & Coaster ticket, you do not need to make a reservation for them. The child must meet the requirements in order to ride on the Mountain Coaster or Scenic Lift Ride.


Enjoy unlimited rides on our Scenic Chair Lift and Mountain Coaster for the day. Our scenic lift ride is a leisurely 15-minute ride to the summit where you will disembark to marvel at beautiful views of Lake Winnipesaukee, Mount Washington and the Belknap, Ossipee, Squam and Presidential mountain ranges. Explore our hiking trails from the top of the mountain, or bring a picnic lunch! The chairlift will be ready to take you back to the base area where you can continue your adventures. Mountain Coaster riders begin and end their ride in a two-person cart on twin, stainless steel rails. The mountain coaster takes riders uphill through the forest before the cart disengages, and gravity takes over. The downhill track is designed with swooping turns, banked corners, rolling drops and 360° turns. Each cart is equipped with its own braking system, allowing you to slow speeds to a comfortable pace or accelerate to G-Force inducing levels. The Unlimited Scenic Lift & Mountain Coaster ticket is per person and non-transferable.

Aerial Treetop (12yrs - Adult)

Built in the trees near the pond, the Aerial Treetop Adventure (ATA) Adult course is New England's largest aerial obstacle course. Explore Gunstock from a bird's eye view. The adult course consists of 65 different challenges securely suspended within the trees to make up 5 levels of the high ropes course. Some of the features include log ladders, bridges, swings, seesaws, foot bridges and, of course, lots of zip lines. Participants are allowed 2hrs to navigate through as many of the 5 levels as you can. You may enter a new level no later than 15min prior to the end of your 2 hour session. At the end of the day, 5:30p is the last time to enter any course. All guests must be out of the trees by 6p.

Mountain Coaster Single Ride (6yrs - Adult)

For ages 5 and younger, you can bring your child to the Ticket Office to pick up a free Mountain Coaster ticket, you do not need to make a reservation for them. The child must meet the requirements in order to ride on the Mountain Coaster.


Mountain Coaster riders begin and end their ride in a two-person cart on twin, stainless steel rails. The mountain coaster takes riders uphill through the forest before the cart disengages, and gravity takes over. The downhill track is designed with swooping turns, banked corners, rolling drops and 360° turns. Each cart is equipped with its own braking system, allowing you to slow speeds to a comfortable pace or accelerate to G-Force inducing levels.

Aerial Treetop Explorer (Ages 6-11yrs)

Built in the trees near the pond, the Aerial Treetop Adventure (ATA) Explorer Course is for our younger, smaller participants to climb like monkeys through the trees. There are 15 games that range from 10-15 feet off the ground, including an 80-foot zip line as the last element. Participants can go through the course 2 times. Adult supervision is required for all participants.
