Ski Dev Teams

This is where fun and learning come together to build a lifelong passion for skiing. Enroll your child (4-14) in one of Gunstock's Development Teams.

The Ski Dev Team program provides a 2 hour (4-6 and 7-14 year old) group lesson with a consistent group. These groups provide students with a stable and fun environment while building their skill and exploring Gunstock’s terrain.

Our qualified instructors strive to create fun and safe group dynamics, while teaching each student the skills they need to master the mountain. Helmets are strongly recommended. Age qualification is as of 12/31.

This program will begin the first week in January and run for 8 weeks excluding MLK weekend and Presidents Week. On the first week of the program, please arrive 20-30 minutes early to check-in and meet your child’s instructor. After the first week, please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start to ensure a smooth beginning to the lesson. Students should arrive dressed and ready to go with ticket previously purchased.

Please note lift access is not included. Lift ticket or season pass must be purchased prior to participating.

Description

In this weekly 2 hour lesson for skiers ages 4-6, the focus will be to develop and blend basic and intermediate skills to gain confidence in their skiing and become more familiar with varying terrain. While skiing in these groups, the students will develop a greater awareness of safety and fun in a non-competitive learning environment. Each skier will be with the same group for 8 weeks building their skills and exploring Gunstock’s terrain.
