Gunstock's Intro to Ski Package is tailored for skiers levels 1-3 who are just starting to explore what winter sports has to offer. Participants are provided with  rentals, lift ticket*, and group lesson from experienced instructors. Helmets are strongly recommended and may be rented for a small additional fee. 

  • Age: 8 through Adult
  • 2-Hour Group Lesson
  • Lift Ticket*: Full Day, Lower Mountain Lift Ticket Included (EZ Carpet, Wonder Carpet, Penny and Ramrod chair lifts)
  • Rentals: Included. Helmet available for additional fee.
  • Time: 10:00am and 1:30pm. Additional time of 11:00am for beginners only during peak times (weekends and certain holidays).
  • Location: Schoolhouse (Snowsports Meeting Area beyond the Children's Center by the pine trees)

Arrival: Check-in at the Ticket Office to pick up ticket and rental contract first. You'll be directed to rentals and then to the lesson meeting area. Please arrive dressed and ready with all equipment, 15min ahead of lesson time at the Schoolhouse, outside the Children's Center. Plan extra time for the check-in process at the Ticket Office.

Dress: Please arrive dressed in layers and ready for on-snow activity according to the weather conditions. We require a jacket, snow pants, and waterproof gloves/mittens. We strongly recommend a hat or helmet, goggles, warm socks (one pair only), a base layer, and a mid-layer (non-cotton).

Lesson Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation Greater than 48 hours prior to lesson: Full Refund or Reschedule of Lesson
  • Cancellation 24-48 hours: Full Value on a Non-Expiring Gift Card or Reschedule of Lesson
  • Less than 24 hours prior to lesson, NO call for Cancellation, or NO show: Loss of Payment
  • Please note that your reservation is not considered cancelled until you have verification from Gunstock reservation staff.

Our tubing hill is a family fun way to play in the snow! Sessions are 2hrs long. There is a 3'6" (42") height recommendation. Each guest must ride in their own tube. Each member of your party must have a ticket in there own name.
